Experience Kawagama acknowledges our presence on Kawagama Lake on the traditional territory of the Anishnabeg and Huron-Wendat peoples. A water-based people, the Anishnaabeg, the original people of what is now Dorset, understood and stewarded this area as a special, spiritual place abundant in natural resources.
